Hello and welcome to this trial edition of the Longside newsletter. Previously those who have recieved this have just got links to our pick of the weeks stories but now we'll be sending out newsletter exclusive content alongside any particular features we think are worth a read.

We've grown so much in the last few months and this has been helped recently with the launch of another ColinWaldron column, a new column from Turfite and our match by match review of the 1959/60 season.

We're looking for your views though on how we can improve the site and any ideas for the newsletter. Please contact us - thelongsider@yahoo.co.uk

We've recently had a tidy up also, we've brightened the message board up a bit and changed the claret and blue colours. We've numbered the navigation bar and added a link so you know who is involved in the site.

We're just ensuring that this works by sending out this first test version and all being well we will have an improved newsletter in your inbox every Thursday.
