Its been a busy few days at Turf Moor and we can now bring you up to speed with the events of the past few days. Robbie Blake's move, Gary Cahill, Liverpool tickets.....

Birmingham now look all set to sign Robbie Blake within the next few days. It has been reported in various news sources that the Clarets have accepted a £1.5 million bid for the forward but Steve Bruce has today said that one or two things need clearing up. There is some good news for Burnley fans though after Steve Cotterill managed to agree a deal with Aston Villa to keep Gary Cahill at Turf Moor until the end of the season. The 19 year-old-defender has been outstanding since he arrived at the club back in November and has played in all 7 league games during his time at the club. The side has managed 5 clean sheets in these games and this news is a massive boost to both the club and the fans following the imminent depature of Robbie Blake to Villa's rivals Birmingham.

Tickets are now on general sale for the FA Cup game against Liverpool next week. The club are urging fans to purchase the tickets as soon as possible in order to avoid missing out as it is unlikely that there will be any tickets available on the night of the game.

Burnley's home league game against Sunderland on Saturday March 5th has been brought forward to Friday 4th with a 7.45 pm kick off. The game will be shown on SKY and the club will receive £60,000.

There will be a minute's silence ahead of tomorrow's game with Leicester due to the Tsunami disaster in the Indian Ocean. The players will also wear Black armbands as a mark of respect and Burnley Football Club are holding a bucket collection for the victims outside the ground tomorrow so if you have any loose change please put it in one of the buckets.
