Burnley were beaten by a very late goal at Home Park. A penalty was given against the Clarets in the 90th minute and Paul Wotton scored from the spot to give the Pilgrims the points.
John McGreal made the journey to Plymouth and started the game from the bench with Steve Cotterill sticking with the side that beat Millwall. The side lined up roughly as follows......

Burnley were put under a lot of pressure throughout the game. Mickey Evans had several good chances in the first half and had a penalty appeal turned down. Robbie Blake had the best chance for Burnley but he fired wide in the 18th minute.
Plymouth continued their pressure in the second half and were awarded the penalty when Gary Cahill handballed in the box. Wotton sent the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal to seal the game.
Steve Cotterill had this to say after the game......
"To be fair, they were the better side throughout,"said Cotterill, "I have no grumbles or complaints and we have got no qualms about the result. "
