Round Up of all the news around Turf Moor this week. Richard Duffy has gone back to Portsmouth, the reserves drew against Macclesfield and all the ticket news for the matches around Christmas. Richard Duffy went back to Portsmouth on Monday after a successful loan spell at Turf Moor. The defender featured in 9 games and played at right back, right wing and left wing in some of these matches. Harry Redknapp refused Steve Cotterill's request of extending the loan but with the resignation of Harry Redknapp yesterday we are sure that Steve Cotterill will be monitoring the Portsmouth situation with interest. The reserve team drew 1-1 with Macclesfield at Turf Moor last night. The lads dominated the match but failed to pick up the victory. Alex Taylor gave the side the lead in the 2nd half but minutes later when Neil Morgan scored to level the game. The result means that the side is yet to register a league victory this season. The Clarets Trust are hosting a 'Race Night' in the Foundation Bar on Friday evening. There will be 8 races on the night with each horse sponsored by either supporters, supporters groups and local companies. Doors open at 7:15pm with the first race set to start at 8:00pm.
