We bring you a brief round up of the news this week that includes a race night, international goal, reserve, youth team and ticket news.
The Clarets Trust are organising a race night at the end of next month. The event will take place in the Foundation Bar on Friday 26th November at 8pm. Its the latest event to be organised by the Clarets Trust and will be a good night for everyone. There will be 8 races, with 8 horses in each race, and fans are currently being invited to purchase a horse for just £5. If you wish to buy a horse please send an e-mail (remember to include a name for the horse) and more details about the event can be found here.
Its been a busy week for some of our players who have been on International duty. Richard Chaplow was a substitute for England Under 20's and came on to score the only goal in the game against Holland. Danny Coyne, Micah Hyde and Richard Duffy along with Chaplow all returned to Turf Moor fit and all will be available for selection in tomorrow's match at Ipswich.
The Reserve team were back in action on Wednesday but could only manage a 0-0 draw at home to Bury however there was better news for the Youth team last Saturday as they recorded a 5th successive victory with a 1-0 victory over Rochdale.
Steve Cotterill has been linked with the manager's job at Leicester but at the moment he's described the link as purely speculation and is concentrating on the match at Ipswich tomorrow.
Tickets for the game at Leeds United are no on sale and news of tickets for the game at Brighton can be found here
