Coyne Deal

It looks as though Danny Coyne will be the next player to arrive at Turf Moor. Coyne is the mystery signing that Steve Cotterill announced a few weeks back. The former Grimsby keeper will be given the number 1 jersey after last seasons regular, Brian Jensen, was given the number 12 shirt last week. The word coming out of Leicester is that Burnley have paid somewhere in the region of £25,000 for the Welsh International.

Coyne joined Leicester last Summer after seeing Grimsby get relegated to the 2nd Division. He wasn't given much of a chance at the Walkers Stadium with England International Ian Walker playing virtually all the games for the sides brief spell in the Premiership.

We expect the deal to be completed within the next few days.
