Strong rumours of next signing emerging...

The Longside believes that the next signing at Turf Moor could be former Crewe and Norwich striker Mark Rivers. Rumour has it that that Rivers may be a target for Steve Cotterill and could follow John McGreal in to the club.

We are still trying to get more information on this at the moment, and therefore cannot suggest it is any more than rumour, but Mark Rivers could well be one potential target for Steve Cotterill to look our for in the coming weeks.

Needless to say it would depend on his future at Norwich, where last season he made 8 appearances, scoring 4 goals.
