We bring you the latest on the first team, reserves and the youth team. The main news regarding the first team is the trip to Marbella this week. The 1st team squad have gone to Marbella for a mid-season training camp. The trip has apparently cost the club nothing and the players will be back in England on Thursday.

The move is sure to spark anger amongst Burnley fans who were told not so longer ago that the club's future was in real danger. Dave Edmundson had this to say "The trip is not costing the club any money at all, as a benefactor has covered the full cost".

Many fans feel though that the money could have been put to better use and instead of a holiday the mysterious benefactor could have injected the cash into the club directly.

The reserve team are back in action on Wednesday when Barnsley are the visitors to Turf Moor. The reverse fixture at Oakwell saw the Clarets beaten 6-0 back in September although they have since had a terrible run of results and are currently bottom of the Premier Division Table. The game will kick off at the usual time of 7 p.m.

The Youth team played against Rochdale at Gawthorpe over the weekend after the fixture was brought forward one weekend. The lads ended a run of 6 successive defeats with the side winning convincingly by three goals to nil. The next game for the Youth Team will be against Tranmere in Lancashire Youth Cup semi-final next Monday.
