The reserve team travel to Newcastle this afternoon to take on Stoke City??? No not that the Newcastle the other one, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. The games kicks off at 2 o'clock. The reserve team will be looking for the second win of the season this afternoon following their recent success against Hull. The game will be last for the reserves in 2003 with the next fixture being played in January at Huddersfield Town.

It looks as though the Clarets will be fielding a stronger side with David May expected to play at the back. Paul Weller will also be given a run out as he looks to improve his fitness following his recent injury and Dean West is also expected to play his first game in the reserves, this season, after losing his place in the first team to Lee Roche.

Burnley Team:
