Facey back at Bolton

Delroy Facey has today gone back to Bolton after his loan spell was cut just days short of it expiring. Facey arrived at the Turf back in September with Gareth Farrelly and played in 17 games for the Clarets and scored 5 times. Facey's last action at the Turf was last night's reserve team game where he played 50 minutes before being taken off.

Facey had impressed Stan Ternent and had been keen to find a permanent deal to keep him at the club.

It's not clear whether a fee could be agreed as Bolton wouldn't be allowed to sell him, due to the transfer window, at the moment.

"Clarets boss, Stan Ternent, expressed an interest in signing the player on a permanent deal but couldn't meet Wanderers' transfer fee," read a statement on Bolton's official website.

Rumours circulating around the Turf suggest that he may be back in January with Glen Little going in the opposite direction.
