There were no changes at the top last night with most sides drawing. Cystal Palace and ourselves were the only sides to collect 3 points. First Division leaders West Brom survived a tough game from Cardiff, at Ninian Park, to maintain their position at the top of the table. Jason Koumas fired Albion in front before Robert Earnshaw equalised from the penalty spot and Cardiff piled on the pressure towards the end without being able to find a winner.

Norwich had captain Malky Mackay sent off as they missed the chance to take over at the top of the table, being held by Coventry at Carrow Road.

Coventry player manager Gary McAllister earned a point for his side with a penalty after Ian Henderson had put Norwich ahead.

Jobi McAnuff's goal gave Wimbledon a precious point from their home game against West Ham in Milton Keynes, cancelling out Brian Deane's opener for the visitors.

Andrew Johnson's goal was enough to give Crystal Palace victory over Stoke at the Britannia Stadium to give themselves a bit of daylight away from the relegation zone.
