Benson Joins Burnley

Midfielder becomes 10th summer signing Burnley Football Club are delighted to confirm the arrival of attacking midfielder Manuel Benson on a four-year deal from Antwerp for an undisclosed fee.

 The 25-year-old has spent the last seven seasons in the Belgium first division with Antwerp and Genk, with loan spells to Mouscron and Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle in between.

 Benson began his career with Belgian side Lierse, spending four years there, before a switch to Genk in the summer of 2017. After three seasons with Genk in the top-flight, winning the Belgian Super Cup in the process, Benson then made the move to Antwerp in 2019.
