Huddersfield have waited 40 years to beat the Clarets but ended that hoodoo at the 14th attempt as a second away defeat in the space of five days put a dampener on Burnley's start to the season.

Goals in each half from Joel Lynch and super striker Jordan Rhodes gave Huddersfield their first victory since their Championship return.
And with little prospect of a response from a below par Burnley, boss Eddie Howe was left with food for thought just a week on from out-playing Bolton in such style.
