Skipper Shackell: "A Massive Honour"

Jason Shackell today insisted it was a "massive honour" to be the new Burnley captain.

The Clarets defender was speaking from the club's training HQ in Bath, where the players are being put through their paces in twice daily sessions as they continue their preparations for the upcoming Championship season.
Shackell is no stranger to the captain's armband, having been captain at previous clubs Barnsley and Derby.
But he insisted he was relishing the responsibility of leading his new club into the new season in under three weeks time.
