Cameron Howieson became Burnley Football Club's youngest ever International when he was capped by New Zealand on Wednesday.
The Clarets teenager made a 72nd minute appearance for the Kiwis in their 2-2 draw against El Salvador in a friendly game in Houston, USA. And in doing so Howieson, at 17 years and 153 days went straight into the Turf Moor record books. Previously, 18 year old Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty had been the club's youngest International, beating the previous record holder, Welsh wing wizard Leighton James, by a week.
