Eddie Howe enjoyed a happy birthday with his side delivering the perfect present of three points and a clean sheet as the Clarets' revival gathered pace with a thumping victory over the mis-firing Tractor Boys.

A first Burnley goal for Sam Vokes, two from captain Chris McCann and an 11th of the season for top scorer Jay Rodriguez gave the Clarets a first home win in three attempts as they backed up their comeback win at Hull last Saturday in commanding style.
Burnley hadn't beaten Ipswich in their previous seven attempts but that statistic was effectively consigned to history once they led 2-0 at the break.

Tons of thanks to the Longside.co.uk for his usual brilliant coverage of the match . After a match from far we are eager to read his important post . After reading it ,we presume that we were at Turf Moor for the match .
