Claret Legend Jimmy Adamson Dies

It is with great sadness that Burnley Football Club today confirms the passing of Jimmy Adamson a former manager, captain and a true club legend. Jimmy, a major contributor to the success of the club during it's glory years of the 50's, 60's and 70's has died at the age of 82.

Ashington-born Adamson gave three decades of magnificent service to the Clarets and was honoured earlier this year by Burnley Football Club who opened a suite  in his name at Turf Moor.
