Burnley Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of exciting young striker Danny Ings from AFC Bournemouth.

Ings has signed a four-year deal at Turf Moor after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for the highly rated 19-year-old.


Ings becomes the Clarets fifth signing of the current transfer window and resumes his working partnership with Eddie Howe, his former manager at Bournemouth.

The Winchester-born forward played in both the Cherries' youth set-up and first team under Howe, making his senior debut alongside current Burnley assistant manager Jason Tindall.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play. I can't work Eddie out yet but this should help a lot.

He won't have three of our best young players, McDonald, Fletcher and Harvey near our first team but he's happy to shell out £1m for Ings and give him a 4 year contract.

He obviously thinks Ings is way better than our lads. We'll see.

Was he the one Palace bid £500k for?

Think it's down as up to £1m so I suspect plenty of add-ons.
