The Clarets' play-off prospects took a further blow as defeat at Bristol City extended their winless run to three games.

Goals either side of half time from on-song Robins' frontmen Brett Pitman and Nicky Maynard sent Burnley into the International break still three points adrift of a top-six place.
Losing momentum at just the wrong time, Eddie Howe's men slipped to eigth in the Championship table as they tasted defeat away from Turf Moor for the first time in five games after rarely threatening to re-launch their promotion push.

Sad that Burnley have faded so badly at the wrong time .They can still be a solid candidate for play-offs if they regain their past winning streak .Still I feel not everything is lost .
