Burnley boss Brian Laws told his players just to give him more of the same after they almost pulled off a stunning Palace coup.

The Clarets left Selhurst Park with just a point to show from their first 0-0 draw in a league fixture since November 2008. But an outstanding performance, in which Burnley hit the woodwork twice and saw Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni pull off a handful of spectacular saves, hinted at so much more to come. " It's a bar we have set and we want to keep that standard" said Laws afterwards.
