Alastair Campbell Misses The Hull City Game

If you spot two empty seats in the away end at Hull on Match of the Day tonight, they were for me and my son. What might loosely be termed political reasons conspired to mean I missed my first away game since August. Gutted or what? Well, up to a point. We won. I shall repeat that. We won. We won away from home. I shall repeat that. We won away from home.

I was on a plane when I should have been arriving at the ground, in a car on the way to a meeting when Hull took the lead and in front of a telly by the time we overturned it. Wanting to have Charlie Nicholas's babies by the time he was announcing our FOURTH goal from Wade Elliott, loving his praise for Graham Alexander, the greatest penalty taker in history, and loving his descriptions of our second-half performance.
