Well the end of the seasons here and even if you don't consider it a success, if the events during the Plymouth game at what followed had been different then there's a real chance that we'd have been playing at Elland Road next season.

Today's game probably wasn't the best way to end the season and a lot of work needs to go on now to learn from the mistakes of this season and take forward all the things the team did right.

Next season will be an important one for the Clarets and Steve Cotterill, he has to ensure that the potential we know the squad has, takes us to a position which reflects our ability in the top half of the table and finally nip in the bud our silly December-March bad runs.

Paul McVeigh on loan from Norwich (until he was released this week) has once again shown how pivotal he has been in Burnley's turn around and with him being released from Norwich, Burnley fans will be left wondering if he will be plying his trade with the Clarets next season.

It's going to be a new start for this website too, next week we will be launching with a new design and we're hoping it'll go smoothly. If the website suddenly goes missing next week, this should be the reason why. We hope you'll find the new site better to use and look forward to your comments.

The articles in terms of what has been happening to the team as of now rather than back in 1959/60 has been very hit and miss all season but I'd like to thank the 1959/60 team for all their effort over the past year and a bit in providing some interesting content on the site to read and we hope to bring more similar articles in the future. Any ideas are welcome.

We're currently looking at ways in which we can improve the content on the site and match reports, previews are going to be a top priority. We are looking for anyone who would be willing to commit to writing such articles for the website, so please get in touch so we can plan for the new season.

We're also looking at other features to complement the site. We however are not going to be providing a rolling news service as I feel this would be too time consuming and would only emulate the efforts of websites which have much more visitors and time to provide this service. If you feel you could offer something to the site, then please get in touch.
