Micah Hyde's Future Resolved

Claret's midfielder Micah Hyde is no longer on Burnley's transfer list following Saturday's 2-0 win against QPR at Turf Moor which puts the team at the top of the league.

The thirty-one year old is said to be happy and the news has pleased manager, Steve Cotterill:

"I spoke to Micah on Sunday and told him I was taking him off the transfer list and he looked happy. I'm delighted that he's in our squad and look forward to seeing him involved this season."

"I don't want to elaborate on that anymore because then people will speculate on something that isn't there. I wouldn't have signed him if I thought he had nothing to contribute, so I am now looking forward to seeing him contribute again.

"I think he'll be better for being on the list and then coming off it.

"At the end of the day, I said when he went on the list that none of them would be treated any different and that's the way it's going to stay. Just because I have taken Micah off the list, doesn't guarantee him a place because we do have competition, which is what we want."
