There are several changes in the starting line-up this weekend, including a number due to injury.

Harry Yates replaces Chester Ribbons in the centre, Ben Cambriani is selected on the wing in place of Arthur Relton, and fly-half Louie Sinclair is to make his first start for the Pirates following an injury suffered last week by Arwel Robson.

One change in the forwards sees James French replace Alfie Petch at prop.

On the bench Zack Wimbush, (dual registered with Exeter Chiefs), will be keen to make hirst first appearance for the Pirates, as will ‘Aussie’ Angus Mawson who has recently signed for the club.

With a few injuries I believe we still have the capability to win this weekend.

A few changes due to injury but hopefully with home advantage we should do enough to get the win ahead of a much needed week off.

Pirates 52 Cambridge 0
A good performance by the Pirates against a spirited Cambridge side who are currently bottom of the league.
The Pirates scored some lovely tries but I think the coaches will be pleased with our defence and in particular our attitude and willingness to defend when the game was already won.
An impressive debut from Louie Sinclair and a cameo appearance from Zack Wimbush off the bench who looks an exciting prospect.
Enjoy the week off ahead of the visit of Richmond in two weeks.

Impressive display and very entertaining. Hopefully the week off will give some of the injured guys to recover.

A good result and an extra weekend resting can assist the team and hopefully make Gavin and Paves a difficult selection for the next match. Maybe some light training regarding penalties for and against as we appear to lead on this.
