A tough game at a venue where we have struggled in the past to come away with a win.
If we show the same attitude and commitment as last week I'm hopeful that we can come away with a much needed win.
London Scottish 10 Pirates 38
Despite twice going down to 13 men the pirates produced a battling performance to score 6 tries and get a bonus point win on the road.
The pirates defence was tremendous throughout particularly when they were 17-0 up with 13 men on the stroke of half time when they stopped Scottish scoring.
The one area of concern besides our discipline was the number of line outs lost in their 22 which stopped us from building pressure on their line.
A very welcome first win of the season takes us up to 9th in the table ahead of the visit of surprise joint league leaders Caldy next Saturday.

Very good result away from home. Gavin said afterwards that some of the line out issues were due to having Morgan and Josh, two main lines out callers, in the bin!
We're seeing week-on-week improvements and that bodes well as the season progresses.
