Changes in the Pirates starting XV from the one that ran out at Caldy sees Chester Ribbons in the 12 shirt, Dan Hiscocks at scrum half, and James French at tight-head prop.

Lock/backrower Lewis Pearson, who was a replacement against Caldy, and backrower Martin Moloney (who will be making his debut for the Pirates) are on short term loans from Exeter Chiefs

This will be a tough ask to beat an unbeaten promotion chasing Coventry but I'm sure the boys will give there absolute best.

A magnificent performance from the pirates who dominated the game and outscored the visitors by 7 tries to 2.
The pirates pack were once again superbly led by captain Hugh Bokenham with recent loan signings Lewis Pearson and Martin Maloney showing up well.
The boys looked full of confidence and self belief after back to back wins as they dominated possession and territory whilst winning the majority of the collisions.
The only area of concern were the number of penalties in the scrum and two attacking line outs in their 22 that we lost.
Overall a massive step forward for the squad against the unbeaten league leaders that we will be looking to build on at home next week against another promotion chasing side Doncaster.

Never in a month of Sundays did I expect this result, a 7 to 2 try drubbing. I thought we might scrape a win but the desire, zest and determination was there for all top see. Maybe Cov were off colour but you can only play whats in front of you. Brilliant result no matter which way you look at it. Well done lads, it's certainly made the rest of the league sit up and take notice.

After watching Cov playing Tigers at Welford Rd. to come way with a BP was the best I thought we may have gained. This result was superb and looking forward over the next few weeks as I will be at Amptil 28/12.24
