A win is a win but Chinnor made us fight all the way and deserve their losing bonus point.
The pirates looked like a side low on confidence but showed great character in defence for those last few minutes as Chinnor went all out for the winning score.
Unfortunately again we were on the wrong side of the penalty count although I'm not convinced that every Chinnor scrum penalty was legal.
Hopefully this will give the squads confidence a massive lift ahead of next week's difficult trip to Caldy.
Agree about the scrum penalties, it looked like the ref was guessing or avoiding making a decision by the end. A good win though, could easily have gone the other way and the character in defence was excellent.
Not sure how we did that, but we got there. Penalty count was much better, except for scrum time - hopefully Paves will put that right before next week.
The table looks a bit better now - up to 7th.

A bit of a nail biter as I was listening in via BBC Cornwall. We got a win at last and hopefully this will motivate the team to carry on. As mentioned penalties going against us pllus 2 x yellow did not help our cause.

To be fair, there's not much you can do when the scrum is under the pump. Most of the penalties were at scrum time and one of the yellow cards was a result of accumulated scrum penalties.
