For the first time since the first game of the season, the pundits over on the Rolling Maul Forum have almost unanimously given this as a home win.

With a mounting injury list, recent Pirates’ teams have shown a lot of changes and quite a number of new faces brought in on loan to fill the gaps. However there is still a lot of quality in the side, and I for one will still be expecting a competitive performance at Coventry and hopefully 4 or 5 points to add to the season’s tally.

WE should hear team news later today, which may give us a clearer view of what to expect, one thing I am sure of is that whatever team runs out tomorrow, they will give it their all.

The team has now been announced, with some welcome returns amongst the forwards.
No. 8 Tom Duncan returns as Captain, with a starting front row of Marlen Walker, Dan Frost and Jay Tyack, whilst lock Danny Cutmore returns after a much needed rest.

I believe the Pirates will come away with a win but unsure they will get the BP with the result. I hope I am wrong in this but on the day, if we do not concede PENALTYS as we appear to be our own worst enemies regarding this the win will be ours.

One of the worst things about this game is, this is one of my home fixtures along with Nottingham. Will be at work when the match is played so will need to tune into Radio Cornwall at least in the background.

A great result but not without it's scary moments, 2 yellow cards, one (I feel) was unlucky the other was stupid in the extreme. Lots of good individual performances but better cohesion as a team again. Now for a good run in.

Great win on the road after a disappointing couple of weeks not helped by our growing injury list. Well done everyone for turning things around and looking forward to finishing the season on a high.

Penalty's given away again which seem to be the norm. I am sure we give more of these to the opposition than we receive from them. Cov a strong team and we did get the win less BP as I predicted. With a rest weekend could be a chance we could get a few more players back.

Thanks DC will look forward to next season and hope we can all meet up somewhere for a yarn and drink.
