The Press Gang have decreed that on Saturday September 1st the SS First and accompanying vessels will set out from Penzance and head east along the A30. Their first objective being to occupy Launceston, the only walled town in Cornwall, ancient capital of the Duchy and former home of the Royal Mint. They will then move onto their primary objective - the capture of Polson Bridge.

All current members of the Press Gang are invited to join the mission which will include a match ticket (subject to availability) for the expected sell-out encounter between the Cornish All Blacks and the Cornish Pirates.

Safe passage to and from Polson can be secured for the princely sum of £10 whilst match ticket prices will be announced here as soon as Lanson release them. There will be pick-ups en route for Press Gang members throughout our great kingdom of Cornwall.

Polson Bridge, for those unfamiliar with the location, is not easily accessible by public transport for those travelling from the west. Car parking is also limited. Your best bet therefore is to travel wiith the Press Gang and nobody else. Beware though of imposters.

The Press Gang has now ceased to trade in shekels and dubloons so you will have to book your seat by sending payment in sterling to Cap`n Tony Green at Boswarthen Cottage, Sancreed, Penzance. Cornwall TR20 8RF (Cheques payable to Cornish Pirates Press Gang).

If you are not yet a member of the Press Gang, then why not? By joining for the princely sum of £5 (Individual) or £10 (Family) you can save yourself a handsome sum on the cost of away travel, visit exotic and far away rugby grounds, make merry and roar on the Pirates.

So go on, JOIN NOW!...............You know it makes sense!
