Russell Latapy has agreed terms with Dundee United and joined untill the 2002/2003 season close. Dundee United have finally completed the signing of ex Hibs and Rangers star Russell Latapy until the end of the season.

The former Trinidad and Tobago international was released by Rangers last month, and to the supporters and management teams delight decided to joined the Tangerine Dream under manager Ian McCall to the end of the season.

United are also hoping to complete a new three-year deal with defender Mark Wilson.

McCall said: "I'm delighted to have signed a player of Russell's quality.

"He has played at the highest level for both club and country and has the experience and quality we require as we enter this crucial part of the season, in the fight for SPL survival."
