Arabs Boss Paul Hegarty today sinalised the singing of former tangerine Gary Bollin and bredfords andy tod Dundee United have completed the signing of Bradford City centre-half Andy Tod and Livingston's Gary Bollan.

Paul Hegarty has been alarmed at the rate which his team are conceding goals and another shaky defensive performance on Saturday prompted him to make moves into the transfer market.

Bollan, who left United to join Rangers eight years ago, has signed a two-and-a-half year deal.

Former Dunfermline player Tod has joined on loan from Bradford City until the end of the season.

Hegarty decided to make his double swoop after seeing his side lose 3-2 at home to Hibernian in the third round on Saturday.
