Andy Tod former aberdeen and dunfermline defender could be on his way to Tannadice for the rest of the 2002/2003 seaon on loan. Dundee United will sign Bradford defender Andy Tod if the player can prove his fitness before the transfer window shuts.

The former Dunfermline man is due at Tannadice on Monday for a medical that should trigger a loan deal until the end of the season.

Tod has only played five games for the Bantams this term and that is unlikely to change because if he makes one more appearance, City would have to pay Dunfermline £25,000 because of an appearance clause.
