Ben May could be Millwall's new lethal weapon judging by his performance against Fisher. One of the weaknesses in May's game had been his finishing, but on this evidence the boy's been practising so much he's just about perfect. Here's a quick run down on the whole team: (3-5-2)

1st half
GK: Marshall 6 - didn't have much to do, apart from watch Ryan's shot hit the bar and same a tame effort from Watts. Kicking wasn't great, but not that bad either.

CB: Phillips 6 - seemed to be playing more like a right back at times, but tackled hard.

CB: Lawrence 6 - got caught on the ball but passed well.

CB: Robinson 7 - overhit a pass or two, like most of the team, but competed well and looked dangerous in attack.

RWB: Dunne 6 - was more like a winger than a wing back. Only got one telling cross in though and was quiet.

CMF: Elliott 6 - largely anonymous, didn't pass very well, but tackled hard.

CMF: Morris 6 - hit some poor passes, but showed some nifty skills.

CMF: Livermore 6 (cptn) - see Elliott!

LWB: Craig 6 - showed plenty of energy, defending as well as attacking, but couldn't supply the forward line with crosses.

ST: Hayles 7 - took his penalty well, which he earned himself. Other than that though, not vintage Hayles.

ST: Peeters 6 - won a few headers, got knocked about a bit, and showed some skill on the ground without really imposing himself.

2nd half
GK: Cronin 6 - had less to do than Marshall.

CB: Rose 6 - was reasonably solid.

CB: Trialist 6 (number 17) - see above.

CB: Trialist 7 (number 14) - showed some promise, looks like a left back.

RWB: Cogan 6 - didn't get any crosses into the box, got dispossessed at times but kept battling.

CMF: Igoe 8 - probably the best player on the pitch, ran nimbly and showed some neat touches, passing precisely.

CMF: Hendry 7 - a few pounds overweight, but picked out players from long range with accurate passes.

CMF: Trialist 6 (number 24) - some nice touches.

LWB: T.Robinson 6 - showed some glimpses of pace and attacking quality.

ST: May 7 - finished like a true predator.

ST: Sutton 6 - was very quiet, but took his goal well.
