Watford's Sean Dyche physical approach on Millwall's Danny Dichio paid dividends for the Hornets...but he shouldn't have got away with it.
It was virtually GBH. Referees seem to hate Dichio for some reason. Is it just because he's tall that all the decisions seem to go against him?
The debate rages on...
Speaking to the SLP, Dyche claimed: "The only response I've got to that is a slight crack on the bridge of my nose.
"I didn't get him sent off. The letter of the law says if you lead with your arm you get a card. Some people believe he should have been given a straight red."
But Wise was having none of it. He said: "I think Sean Dyche conned the referee myself, he acted.
"It was quite funny because he put a towel over his face when he walked off, but there was not a scratch on him.
"I was disappointed, obviously, with the first booking. Dyche actually did Dichio with an elbow, straight in the back of his head, and that is obviously why Dichio naturally reacted."
