Curse of the ex

It's always a case of the curse of the ex when Sheffield United striker Paul Shaw plays against Millwall. But this time, we're hoping that Barry Hayles can haunt his former side with a goal or two...and it looks like he's chomping at the bit. Hayles has described his time at Bramall Lane as "unpleasant" and says he's "especially keen" to score against his former employers.

Former Lions favourite Shaw will hope to do the same.

He said: "I'll get the traditional amount of stick from the fans tomorrow, but I don't mind.

"They are great supporters at Millwall and I had a very good relationship with them. A bit of good natured abuse is part and parcel of returning to your old club and I'll enjoy it in a way.

"I always look forward to playing at Millwall because I had such a good time there. It does give me that little bit of extra edge and I'll enjoy seeing the likes of Paul Ifill, Neil Harris and Dave Livermore, who were there when I was."
