Following the recent appeal for additional financial support, the Board of Directors of Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Club will be meeting again during the week commencing 13th June to evaluate the options for next season in light of pledges received to date from sponsors and benefactors.
The Board would like to thank those individuals and organizations who, very generously, have indicated their willingness to support the Club to date.
Club Chairman Chris Loughran said,“We are looking, in aggregate, for a substantial financial commitment so that we can plan our campaign for next season with a requisite degree of certainty. Whilst we have been encouraged by the level of pledges received to date, we are still some way off reaching critical mass, so I would urge anyone who has yet to step forward to help secure high quality rugby in the borough to now do so.”
He added, “We are particularly keen to hear from businesses who would like to be associated with rugby in their local area, as we believe that Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Club, with its strong links with the wider community along with its thriving junior section, has a number of exciting potential corporate opportunities.”
Further information about how businesses and individual donors can support the Club can be found on the Club’s website at Bees_Appeal_Article with further information also available from Ben Seifas 07894 783129 or email him on ben.seifas@beesrugby.com .
