Having suffered the frustration of several postponed fixtures due to the weather conditions of recent weeks, Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Club finally return to action on Saturday 1st January 2011 (KO 3pm) against Esher in the RFU Championship at Molesey Road. 

The Bees will be looking to replicate their strong performance in the 38-16 home victory at Damson Park back in October, in one of the club’s only two league wins to date in the current campaign.

Adam Clayton, Ed Binham and Simon Hunt are all set to return to the Bees starting XV for the bottom of the table New Year’s Day clash, whilst Ross Noonan returns to the bench for the first time this season, following an injury lay off.

Speaking ahead of the game, Bees’ Director of Rugby Russell Earnshaw said, "The enforced break has given us some much needed time to work on some areas of our game that needed addressing. It has also made selection interesting, as we have several long-term injured players now back to full fitness and I am expecting them to provide us with some impetus over the next few crucial games."
