Coach on the move again

Ex Spurs boss Jacques Santini, is once again without a club as he parted company with Auxerre. He only managed a few months in charge of Spurs and has not hung about very long at Auxerre either. The clubs website stated:

"Auxerre have put an end to its work with its coach.

"As a consequence, Jacques Santini will not train the club next season."

It was always going to be a difficult task attempting to replace the legendary Guy Roux, who had been in charge for 44 years and Santini, singularly failed to impress fans and directors alike.

It is all a far cry from when he led Lyon to five successive titles and was appointed French national coach for the European Championships.
