Manchester United; Rudd awakening

It has not been a great season for Manchester United, true they managed to secure second, but Man Utd fans are used to winning things, and must feel a hollow taste in their mouths with second place. And another thing leaving a hollow taste will be the antics of Rudd van Nistelrooy, true he is one of the most exiting forward in the country and has been unaccountably been left on the bench loads of times and sometimes not even deemed worthy for a place on the bench.

Now Rudd van Nistelrooy might be asking for a transfer, or he may even be forced into a transfer, either way his parting now seems inevitable. It will however more than likely be to a different country, Italy or Spain currently looking the favoured destinations. But will it be a bigger loss to Manchester united than Sir Alex Ferguson thinks?

Yesterday Rudd walked out of old Trafford because he wasn’t on the first team and while many, myself included feel he should be part of the first team, his antics will have won him few friends at board level at Old Trafford.

Previous arguments with players, like David Beckham and Jaap Stam, have long proved that there is only likely to be one winner at Manchester United and that will be the manager.

Rudd is on his way, there seems little doubt, and it’s merely the destination that has yet to be decided.
