It was to be the biggest game of his short career, arguably the most exciting young talent in the world is set to miss out on European football’s showpiece, due to the muscle injury which has seen him sidelined for almost two months. Prompting Barcelona medical staff to only ate him as having a two percent chance of playing, stating:

"There are no miracles with this type of injury."

And cautioning the youngster, that if he rushes he could be forced to miss the world cup:

"If he's in too much of a hurry, he'll miss the World Cup."
