Manchester United and Inter Milan are both waiting to find out what Bayern Munich’s next move will be, as they battle to keep hold of their star midfielder Michael Ballack.
Bayern have just about given up hope on keeping Ballack, prompting general manager Uli Hoeness to state yesterday:
"I believe I know what his decision is going to be - and we will have to live with it."
And as Ballack will be able to negotiate pre-contract from January, Inter and Man Utd are stepping up their chase for the player.
