Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said that he thinks it would be “very dangerous” for Thierry Henry, should he be forced to play twice next week. France who have games against Costa Rica on Wednesday in Martinique and then face Germany the following weekend, were hoping to play their star, but Wenger Warns:

“It’s in the interests of France to give him one-and-a-half games.”

“It would be very dangerous for him to play 90 minutes”.

But Henry does not seem to share the sentiment and is said to be desperate to play in the Caribbean saying:

“It would be an immense pleasure to play”.

It is a very personal game for the Frenchman, the friendly was arranged as a fundraiser for the victims of a plane crash, and with his Mother hailing from Martinique, Henry has a personal interest.
