Van Persie: praise from a legend

Arsenal star Robin Van Persie has received praise from team-mate and Arsenal and Dutch legend Dennis Bergkamp, who has been working closely with the youg star: "Robin has probably grown up a bit. He's one of those players who can make a difference, creating something for himself and others and he's shown that more this season than in the past. He's developing well.

"He can score goals and is confident but is still young and getting stronger, so it's fantastic for the future."

And Van Persie was quick to attribute his new found form to the help he has received:

"I think my improvement is down to all the guys.

"Players like Dennis, Sol Campbell and Thierry have been fantastic to me and training with them every day makes you better. And the boss, too. He's been fantastic."
