Juventus close in on Real Madrid star

Real Madrid full-back Michel Fernandez Salgado, will join Italian champions Juventus in January. A move had been on the cards over the summer, but it failed to materialise. It now however looks, like a January move is well and truly on: "Real have offered me to Juventus on a six-month loan deal starting in January," Salgado is quoted as saying.

"The Real directors have told me this directly and it is a solution that I am happy with."
