Real Madrid look to help Guti out

Unsettled midfielder Guti, who is wanted by a host of Premiership sides including Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton as well as Juventus and AC Milan in Italy, is being given a helping hand to leave the club according to Madrid’s director of football Arrigo Sacchi. Speaking to Marca Sacchi stated:

"The president wants to help him and he wants to leave but the third ingredient is missing - a club that wants to buy him."

"If one comes forward then we will talk."

"Guti is a great player and he has made it clear he wants to play. But where? I could put him on the wing but he feels happier just behind the forwards or up front.

"In those positions we already have (Zinedine) Zidane and Raul, two great champions, and further forward we have Ronaldo, (Michael) Owen and we may have Robinho too.

"So in order to play, Guti has to play out of position and that's why we understand his request."
