Ronald Waterreus has been offered a new one year deal at Glasgow Rangers. The 34-year old goalkeeper's contract runs untill January but manager Alex McLeish showed his appreciation towards Waterreus for his fantastic performances last season with offering him a extention to that.
"Ronald have played fantastic last season and he played a major part in our championship win. As reward we are now offering him a extention untill the end of the season." stated McLeish on the Rangers official website.
Stefan Klos, Rangers first choice goalkeeper, got injured heavily last season and Waterreus decided to leave Manchester City and to join Rangers as they badly needed a new goalkeeper.
