Inzaghi Injured for Lazio due to Bizarre Incident

In a bizarre incident, Lazio have lost star striker Simone Inzaghi to injury.

In pre-season training, Inzaghi somehow collided with a team-mate in a friendly match, and instead of cuts and bruises, Inzaghi went down in agony, and a scan later revealed a broken rib.

This will keep the forward in pain for 6 weeks, and also prevent him from playing football.

After a disappointing season last year, Inzaghi was ready to make an impression in the 2005/2006 campaign, but this set-back is not the best way to start.
