Everton confirm Spanish raid

Everton manager David Moyes has stated on the clubs website that he is preparing to make a double swoop for Valencia pair Mohamed Sissoko and Emiliano Moretti. Sissoko is a young centre forward who plays his international football for Mali, while Italian Defender Moretti would provide some defensive cover ahead of the clubs excursion into UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

"I can confirm we are trying to bring them both to Everton," Moyes told Everton's official website.

"I don't want to say much more than that but I am hoping to conclude both deals quickly."
