Juventus would be prepared to sell Chelsea target

Although Juventus turned down a £30 million offer from Chelsea for French international striker David Trezeguet, Juve director general Luciano Moggi has hinted that it may not be the end of the matter. The Italian press believe should Chelsea return with an improved offer Trezeguet would be allowed to leave. Juventus are rumoured to value the player at closer to 40 million, whether Chelsea will go that high remains to be seen.

Chelsea though, despite their billions and success are having difficulty attracting a real top of the range striker and may be tempted to cave in toe Juventus’ demands.

For his part Trezeguet has sated that he would like to move to London in the past, although at that time he was connected with a move to Arsenal.
