Spurs in for Italian legend.

Internazionale striker Christian Vieri is said this morning to be at the centre of a serious attempt by Spurs to lure the Italian star to White Hart Lane. There have been rumours for some time now that he is unsettled at Inter and would be willing to move, earlier this week he stated that he was looking for clear the air talks with the Inter bosses, but Spurs feel they can lure him to London.

Fluent in English, thanks to an Australian upbringing, Vieri has often looked more like a typical English centre forward, than a classical Italian one, but he has been effective down the years, there is little arguing with that.
